What is the minimum FICO score needed?
If you’re applying with Synchrony, the minimum credit score is 640–699. If applying with Acima, there’s no credit score needed as it is a lease-to-own program, which doesn’t require a credit check.
Is it going to affect my credit score?
Synchrony will be a hard pull, so yes, it can drop your FICO score by a few points. However, keep in mind that your score will go back up by making on-time monthly payments. Acima will not affect your credit score.
What is the minimum payment?
This all depends on which promotional tier you choose. Synchrony offers monthly payment plans that range from 6 months to 24 months. Acima will show you the minimum amount owed when you sign the contract.
Do I get a credit card?
Yes, Synchrony issues you a credit card.
Can I use this credit card somewhere else?
Yes, you can use this credit card at other merchants that accept Synchrony Home.
Is there a down payment?
Synchrony does not require a down payment. If you would like to submit a down payment, you are more than welcome to as this will bring down your monthly payments. Acima requires a first initial processing fee of $50.
When will I receive the bill for the first payment?
Typically, Synchrony will send your first invoice within 30 days of delivery. Acima will let you know when your first payment is due via email, typically after delivery is dispatched.
